This masonry program is designed to give job seekers safety training and an opportunity to strengthen their job readiness skills.
Participants will learn to safely and properly operate hand and power tools as well as equipment found on the construction site. They will have opportunities to use masonry materials and supplies and to practice the selection, preparation and installation of masonry materials.
Program runs:: January 17 – March 11, 2022
Location: Algonquin College, Perth Campus – 7 Craig Street, Perth, Ontario
Tuition & supplies:: There is no tuition fee. This training program is funded by Skills Advance Ontario. Plus, there is funding for expenses such as textbooks, tools, safety equipment and required safety training.
Duration: Eight weeks on campus. Monday – Friday. Full-time program
