Brick & Stone Mason

Description

This masonry program is designed to give job seekers safety training and an opportunity to strengthen their job-readiness skills. Participants will learn to safely and properly operate hand and power tools as well as equipment found on the construction site. They will have opportunities to use masonry materials and supplies and to practice the selection, preparation and installation of masonry materials.

Requirements/Eligibility

• 18 years of age or older (17 with a high school diploma)
• Currently unemployed or underemployed and not in education or returning in the winter
• A Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
• Interested in a career in the Construction Industry
